We are very proud of our sterling reputation, which is the result of 50 years of visionary development. This timeline will evolve over the course of our anniversary year, as has the company over five decades.

2008

We’re proud to highlight Riverview, a landmark condominium community named for its spectacular Potomac vistas at Leisure World of Virginia—now known as Lansdowne Woods.

Completed in 2008, the 11-story brick-and-concrete building features 242 luxury condominium homes, thoughtfully designed to support comfortable, community-focused living.

For five decades, we’ve helped shape communities across the region—and Riverview embodies our legacy of thoughtful design, quality construction and life-enhancing amenities.

2017

Hillcrest

Hillcrest in Ponce, Puerto Rico is a shining example—an affordable housing community of 253 single-family homes, completed in 2017. Hillcrest reflects our proven commitment to expanding access to quality, affordable housing and strengthening communities where families can thrive.

2018

Rivergate North

Completed in 2018 along the Occoquan River in Woodbridge, VA, Rivergate North is a standout example of IDI Group’s commitment to evolving luxury living. This six-story community with 402 apartments offers waterfront views—especially from its rooftop terrace and cabanas, where residents enjoy sweeping river scenery from a six-story perspective.

Long known for the abundant amenities at the communities we develop, Rivergate North also introduced several firsts for IDI Group. Alongside a luxury resort-style pool and recreational offerings, the community debuted our first-ever virtual fitness classes, a sand volleyball pit, and a fully equipped business center with conference room.

As we celebrate 50 years, Rivergate North reflects our dedication to innovation, thoughtful design, and creating places people love to call home.

2018

The Enclave

Today’s trip down memory lane spotlights one of our standout communities in the heart of the City of Fairfax — The Enclave.

Completed in 2018, The Enclave features two thoughtfully designed four-story buildings with 80 luxurious and modern condominium homes.

For more than five decades, IDI has helped shape neighborhoods across the region, and The Enclave is a proud part of that legacy. Here’s to 50 years of excellence — and many more ahead!

2020

Watermark

Celebrating 50 years of IDI Group and landmark projects like Watermark—a luxury boutique condominium in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Completed in 2020, this four-story building with just 18 residences offers exceptional design. As you can see from the photo of the rooftop terrace, residents also enjoy stunning views of Washington, DC across the Potomac.

2023

Boulevard VI

As master developer, IDI transformed the former Paul VI High School site in the City of Fairfax into a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood featuring 144 condominiums, 115 townhouses, 7 single-family homes, and 44,000 SF of commercial and retail space—bringing new homes, businesses, and energy to a historic location.

Projects like Boulevard VI reflect our long-standing commitment to thoughtful placemaking, community impact, and enduring value.

2023

Viridium

As we embark on our 6th decade of building communities across Northern Virginia, we’re proud to spotlight Viridium in Woodbridge.

This 318-unit luxury apartment community on the beautiful Occoquan River reflects The IDI Group’s commitment to thoughtful design and vibrant placemaking.
